NWA 5000 Meteorite Thin Section
NWA 5000 provides an incredible glimpse of the Lunar Highlands. A feldspathic breccia, this meteorite and the inclusion in this thin section showcase the violent bombardment which took place on the ancient lunar surface. This meteorite is one of the largest and most studied of the lunar meteorites. More information here.

NWA 5400 Meteorite Thin Section
A fascinating ungrouped achondrite brachinite-like meteorite, North West Africa 5400 provides a spectacular visual display of an object associated with the Earth at the time of its formation. It is speculated that the parent body of this meteorite was either Earth itself, before the Moon formation or Theia — the hypothesized object which collided with Earth.
